The women’s reserve team, a squad with brilliant numbers

The Malaguistas are facing CD Algaidas on Sunday at 18:00 at the José Gallardo ground, in a key match to aspire to the promotion play-offs to the Segunda División Nacional.

The Málaga CF Femenino reserve team is having a rounded season. The Blue and Whites, coached by José Antonio Martínez, known as Ayala, are leading the Segunda División andaluza sénior (Grupo Málaga) with 48 points, 10 more than the second-placed team, CD Algaidas (38 points).

Málaga CF’s second women’s team aspires to become a Segunda División Nacional outfit, and is achieving some numbers to corroborate this. With eight games to go until the end of the season, Ayala’s team have scored a total of 105 goals and conceded only 5. Striker, Alba Andrades is the team’s highest scorer with 18 goals.

This Sunday, from 18:00, the women’s reserve team will face CD Algaidas at the José Gallardo ground.
