Like yesterday, Sergio Pellicer had 25 players in action this morning: goalkeepers Dani Barrio, Juan Soriano and homegrown keeper Gonzalo, plus 22 players including reserve team members Benítez, Mini, Quintana, Julio, Hicham (at a good pace) and Cristo (fit), as well as ‘juveniles’ Andrés, Loren and Larrubia.
Mejías, suffering with a blow to the left knee, underwent preventive training in the gym. Lombán (COVID-19) and Orlando Sá (not in training due to personal reasons with the Club’s permission), were absent along with the players with long-term injury Calero and Chavarría, who were in the gym undergoing recovery treatment.
Injured homegrown players Isma Casas and Ramón remain outside the group.
Tomorrow, Friday at 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
