The Malaguistas departed from Málaga airport at 17:00, arriving in Vitoria at 20:00, after flying to Bilbao, and travelling by coach to the final destination.
The 18 called-up players and coaching team are accompanied by president, Abdullah Al Thani; Board member, Nayef Al Thani; Club advisers, Abdullah Ben Barek – Alavés coach in the 1975/76 season -, and Francisco Martín Aguilar; presidential adviser, Carlos Pérez; and sports director, Francesc Arnau.
The Vazquez Olmedo Malaguista coach, driven by member of the #MalaguistaFamily, Ángelo Navas, awaited the team in Bilbao with the equipment brought from the Costa del Sol, with the coach bearing the image of sponsor, Marathon Bet.
This Sunday at 12:00, Málaga CF will face Deportivo Alavés at Mendizorroza in LaLiga match 8.
