They’re here once again, and this year makes five. The endearing awards presented each year by the Málaga CF Foundation with the unforgettable Pablo Ráez always in our memory.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, around 12:30 at La Rosaleda, a judging panel will vote for the selected candidates in the three existing categories.
Members of the panel are, on behalf of Málaga Club de Fútbol, judicial administrator, José María Muñoz; adviser Francisco Martín Aguilar; Lucas Rodríguez and Basti from the MCF Foundation; and the captains of MCF, MCFF and Genuine, David Lombán, Clo García and Antonio Noel.
In addition, as well as honorary member Paco Ráez, the judging panel is made up of Francisco Javier Pomares (Councillor for Social Rights and Equality at Malaga City Council), María Lourdes Piña (Deputy for Equality, Social Services and Families at the Diputación de Málaga) and Lola Fernández (Delegate for Equality, Social Policies and Conciliation at the Junta de Andalucía).
Six social entities are up for the Social Entity award, with three winners; there are three candidates for the Abdallah Ben Barek award, with one winner for sporting values; and three other candidates are in the running for the Siempre Fuerte special award, also with one winner. The winners will be announced tomorrow afternoon.
The awards ceremony will take place at the end of March, which as always will be full of surprises and incredible performances. Siempre Fuertes!
