The ¡sí se puede! chant resounds throughout Blue and White Values
Students from CEIP San Miguel de Nerja were the last stars of the ninth season of the MCF Foundation's sports values campaign, held at La Rosaleda.
The Tribuna VIP Area of the Blue and White stadium hosted an event that put the finishing touch to the ninth season of 'Blue and White Values', which has enjoyed the support of the Club’s main sponsor Diputación Provincial de Málaga. Borja Vivas, Sports Director at the Diputación, was present at the event.
A total of 15 schools in Málaga and the province, more than 1,200 children, have visited La Rosaleda since the ninth season of this campaign, which started back in November 2022 with the visit from CEIP Lope de Vega de Coín.
With Basti as master of ceremonies, directors Francisco Martín Aguilar and José Antonio Ruiz Guerra were present at an event that included two of the captains from the male and female first teams, Alberto Escassi and María Farfán, as well as Málaga Genuine players, Rafa and Adrián.
After visiting the stadium's Museum&Tour, the students from Nerja were immersed in the Blue and White and Malaguista values in a chat that included a question-and-answer session from the 'little ones'. Escassi commented that “to achieve the objectives, teamwork is essential,” advising the students to “enjoy every day. When I was young, I watched the games and looked at the players who played in my position to learn,” he said. Farfán, meanwhile, spoke of the importance of “caring for the environment for us and for everyone,” while explaining how lucky she’s been to have “never suffered major injuries” during her football career.
The uplifting chants of “¡sí se puede!” resounded in all corners of the stadium in an event that ended with the traditional family photo and autograph signings, photographs, shirts and scarves from the Malaguista captains.
