The paths of Málaga CF and Tesesa cross again

Earlier today Málaga Club de Fútbol and Tesesa presented their sponsorship agreement for the next two seasons at the Málaga company’s headquarters in El Viso.

There was a large representation from the Club in attendance at the presentation, headed up by The MCF Academy CEO and president of Málaga CF Femenino, Hamyan Al Thani; Club advisers, Antonio Benítez and Francisco Martín Aguilar; sports director, José Luis Pérez Caminero; and Sebastián Fernández Reyes (MCF Foundation). First team players Munir and Blanco Leschuk; women’s team coach, Antonio Contreras and players Adriana and Stefany; Blue and Whites’ reserve team captains, Iván Rodríguez and Alberto López; and juvenil players, Juan Cruz and Hugo represented the Club’s main teams.

The Blue and Whites’ players and Málaga CF Femenino members who attended the presentation of the new sponsor posed for photos at various points within Tesesa’s facilities, wearing the new jersey bearing the name of the sponsor on the front.

Málaga-based Tesesa, dedicated to the design and manufacture of doors, cabinets, kitchens and parquet floors, with more than 35 years of experience in the sector, will be Málaga CF’s main sponsor for the 2018/19 and 2019/20 seasons. Both the Club and Tesesa seal an alliance that brings them back together after a decade. Tesesa was MCF’s main sponsor for a year and a half on the Malaguista shirts (2006/07 and 2007/08) and continued as a complementary sponsor during 2008/09 and 2009/10.

Pepe Hernández, owner of the company and member of the Club’s Board of Directors (in 2010) has been a long-time champion of Malaguismo and whose unwavering support of the Martiricos entity is once again at the forefront: “We have been going for nearly 40 years. We’ve always been linked to Málaga football, we made a great effort at the time but were rewarded with the support of the whole of Málaga. Now the possibility of being a main sponsor was presented at a time when Málaga needed it and I saw that the project was very viable”, he said to the media. Martín Aguilar also praised “a company that has become a leader in Málaga and throughout the province. It’s an important day for Málaga, sponsored by Malaguista and Malagueña companies. We are all extremely proud of such a ‘Malagueñizado’ Málaga. Pepe has always been awaiting a call from Málaga to collaborate with the Club. This sponsorship goes from the first team to Atlético Malagueño, the women’s teams and grassroots football, something we’ve never had before, and now thanks to Tesesa we will”.
