The Juvenil DH, going for the league title and Copa de Campeones

The MCF Academy team, coached by Dely Valdés, could be proclaimed group champions this Sunday (12:00, broadcast on GOL) and access the most prestigious youth football competition in Spain.

The Blue and Whites are just one step away of claiming the group 4 title in the Juvenil División de Honor category. This title would be their ticket to compete in their second consecutive Copa de Campeones, a tournament that brings together the best youth teams in the country, and which the boys won last year.

Dely Valdés’ boys have accumulated 75 points from 33 matches (23 victories, six draws and four defeats), scored 93 goals and conceded 30, which has already earned them qualification to the Copa del Rey Juvenil.

Should they win on Sunday 9th April (12:00, broadcast on GOL) away to Real Betis, the Blue and Whites will be proclaimed champions. They could also do it with a draw or even a defeat, providing Sevilla FC’s ‘juvenil’ team (second place with the same number of points) don’t win more points than the Malaguistas in their visit to Córdoba CF.
