The Málaga players take part in a campaign to prevent cardiac arrests at football grounds.
The Málaga Town Hall’s Patio de Banderas hosted the ‘Play Safe’ campaign today. The event was attended by the players from the Blue and Whites’ women’s team, who learned how to react to prevent a cardiorespiratory arrest on the pitch, via an application that explains how to handle the situation should a player collapse.
The event coincides with Cardio Health Week, which aims to raise public awareness of knowing how to act should an episode of this type occur.
Also in attendance were Málaga CF femenino coach, Raúl Iznata; member of the MCF Foundation’s Social Department, Sebastián Fernández Reyes ‘Basti’; and young people at risk of social exclusion from Asociación Nena Paine.
