The grand ‘Supercapacitad@s’ gala is another resounding success

The entire Málaga Genuine squad, 64 players plus coaching team and volunteers, was presented to society in its second year of life in a crowded Edgar Neville auditorium within Diputación Provincial.

It’s hard for the Supercapacitad@s to be the stars of an event and for it not to be a resounding success. This being the case, it was easy to predict that the gala presentation of the team’s second year of life was going to light up the Diputación Provincial’s Edgar Neville auditorium, one of the project’s sponsors, where the event took place.

At the inauguration party for the new season, the ‘Genuines’ had it all. They were called to the stage one by one, they sang, they danced… they even watched a short documentary about their first year that MCFTV will show fans via the Club’s official channels.

Nobody wanted to miss out on this event, these are just a handful of the long list of guests:

In attendance were representatives from the project sponsors, Juan Carlos Maldonado; first vice president and sports deputy of the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, Noelia Losada; councillor for sports at City Hall, José Luis Paradas Romero; former First Division referee and head of Sports and Events at Málaga City Hall, Gerardo Cuartero; CaixaBank’s sales director of Eastern Andalucía; and Jesús Gutiérrez, manager of SANAMAR. Also present was the delegate for Education, Sport and Social Politics at the Junta de Andalucía, Mercedes García Paine; sports director at the UMA, Pedro Montiel; representing Málaga CF; male first team coach, Víctor Sánchez del Amo; his players Juankar and Luis Muñoz; women’s team coach, José Herrera; players Ruth and Judith; Club adviser, Abdullah Ben Barek; head of the MCF Academy, Sergio Paulo Barbosa Valente ‘Duda’; members of the technical department, Juan Rodríguez, Manolo Gaspar, Martín Viberti and Francisco Capote; and delegate of At Malagueño and MCF School coordinator, Raúl Iznata. Former Malaguista player, Fernando was also present, along with ex Unicaja basketball player, Berni Rodríguez representing ONG Academia 675; honorary sponsor of the MCF Foundation, Paco Ráez; LaLiga 1|2|3 referee, Melero López and various social entities from the city of Málaga.
