Málaga CF Femenino will enjoy a very special match tomorrow. The combination of Ayala’s girls taking part in the second round of the Copa de la Reina and debuting at La Rosaleda fills all Malaguistas with excitement.
The Preferencia Baja area of the Malaguista temple will host associations such as Adoratrices Málaga; women’s teams from the province like Marbella CF and CD Alhaurín; schools such as Colegio Europa Málaga; and, of course, our girls from the MCF Academy who dream of one day playing in the first team.
This is a huge step for football and women’s sport, and Málaga CF wants to be part of the process. Since the famous triple win in 97/98, achieving the League, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa titles, in which Club Atlético Málaga was the best women’s team in Spain, until today, and tomorrow. The players from that legendary Atlético Málaga team will watch the match from the palco de honor at La Rosaleda Stadium.
Like back then, when the unforgettable Guard of Honour at La Rosaleda was held by the male first team, in which the trophies were offered to the Malaguista fans, Málaga CF will again be cheering on the women's team. Following their impeccable league start, with a full house of victories, they will seek a pass to the next round of the Copa de la Reina with Memory, Commitment and Faith.
