The Blue and Whites arrive in Valencia

Valencian-born Raúl Albentosa, and Pablo Fornals from Castellón, were the most sought after players during the team’s arrival at the hotel hours before the match in Mestalla against Valencia CF, at 10 p.m.

The expedition is headed up by Club adviser, Francisco Martín Aguilar; director general, Vicente Casado; and sports director, Mario Husillos.

The 18 called-up players, with the new addition of Camacho who enters the line-up for the first time this season, departed the Costa del Sol airport this morning at 10:30, arriving in Valencia around midday.

Raúl Albentosa, born in Alzira (Valencia) and Pablo Fornals (Castellón) received a very warm welcome at the hotel today as they were reunited with family and friends.

The players are currently in hotel Sercotel Sorolla Palace in the Valencian capital, where they will undergo stretching exercises, have a team talk before lunch and later relax ahead of tonight’s game at Mestalla against Valencia CF (10 p.m.)

Following the game the group will return to Málaga, scheduled to arrive back in the early hours of Sunday morning at 2:40.
