Tete Morente: “We can’t wait to start working together as a whole team”

The Blue and White winger spoke to the Club’s official media following Friday’s training session: “The team is focused on having a great end to the season”, he stated.

Team training

“We’re all very happy to be back, even though we’re training in groups of 14. We can play reduced matches, we’re able to do a lot more which I’m pleased about. We can’t wait to start working together as a whole team to compete the way we want to when LaLiga starts. Playing 11-a-side games with the tactics the coach wants as a team, not in groups”.

Good relationship with teammates

“I get on great with Buenacasa. Luis helped me a lot when I arrived. As captain he’s always helping and supporting any way he can, making it very easy for me”.

Standout player

“I said when I arrived, Dani Pacheco because of the quality he has, is a standout player”.

Clean concepts

“The team wants to train all together, to start planning all the matches, even though the coach has made it very clear to us what he wants, and we want to start now”.

Calm

“The team is calm. We know how to handle the situation, we have no problem and will face it in the best way we can”.

With cautious focus on LaLiga

“We need to be ready in this situation. We can’t be silly or see more people than we normally would. LaLiga is just around the corner, which is the most important thing, and we cannot make any mistakes from here until the competition ends”.

Night games

“It’s far better that the matches are at 22:00 because with the heat in Málaga it’ll be much easier for us”.

Ready under any circumstance

“We’re ready for any situation that may arise. Whether we’re in concentration or not, the team is focused on having a great end to the season”.

All for one

“The coaching team is doing a highly important job for us, and I think if LaLiga said we’re starting tomorrow, we’d be more than ready”.

Playing at home again

“We have so many memories, the feeling that you’ve had such great times with the people around you, supporting you. It’s a tremendous satisfaction returning to La Rosaleda”.
