It was the ‘Day of the Beast’. A colossal player, Julio Baptista, became general captain in the second half of 10/11 season for Málaga CF. His goals were key to the team remaining in the elite.

Before the Baptista show, Seba put Málaga ahead of Mallorca in 27’ of the first half. Before half-time (40’), and soon afterwards (57’) the ground-breaking Brazilian attacking midfielder brought La Rosaleda to its feet to seal the 3-0 final score. A vital win on league matchday 32 held on 16th April 2011.
