It was a 0-7 win for Málaga CF Femenino against CP San Miguel de Plasencia in the match corresponding to Segunda División Nacional Femenina Group IV, matchday 18.
The Blue and Whites opened the scoring after just one minute. Sheila and Adriana made the initial kick, and the team captain made the most of the small dimensions of the rival pitch to score the 0-1 from midfield (0-1 min 1).
Antonio Contreras’ girls dominated the ball without any complications, and despite the numerous scoring opportunities, didn’t manage to increase their lead, and Adriana’s goal was the only one during the first 45 minutes of play.
The remainder of play belonged to the Malaguistas and following the first five minutes of the second half, captain Adriana made it 0-2 thanks to an assist from Paula. With no time to blink, Pamela took her team’s advantage to 0-3. A goal that came from a María R. pass, who joined the match in substitution of María Farfán. The match was tinted Blue and White, and in minute 55, Adriana stole possession to sink the ball into the CP San Miguel goal to make it a 0-4 lead. The fifth goal for the visitors was the work of Sheila, who made the most of a corner placed by Paula to go further in front (0-5 Min 65).
With 10 minutes remaining until the end of play, the referee awarded a penalty in favour of the visitors. Adriana converted from the penalty spot to score the 0-7 and seal the match for Málaga Femenino, who knew how to overcome the scant dimensions of the pitch to claim their 10th win on the bounce and seal the group top spot with 49 points.
