Ten years of First Division clashes at the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum

Málaga CF’s first visit to Getafe CF’s stadium in the top category of Spanish football was in 2004/05. Over the past 10 years the Blue and Whites have achieved four victories and six defeats in League and Cup matches.

A very young Juanmi has scored twice for the Blue and Whites at the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum; in 2009/10 in a Cup defeat, and again in 2011/12 which led to a Málaga victory by 0-1.
 
Curiously, in the Second Division the ‘Malaguistas’ have previously come up against Getafe.  In 1978/79 the current head of the Club’s Medical Services, Juan Carlos Pérez Frías, scored one of the goals, along with two from Orozco, with Sebastián Viberti on the bench.  This match ended in a 0-3 win for CD Málaga.
