Ten homegrown players in training

Málaga CF’s second session of the week, the first in the morning, got underway this Wednesday at La Rosaleda Stadium. A total of 10 MCF Academy players were in action.

Training kicked off at 10:30, including an initial technical talk, tactical work with the ball, mini matches in a reduced space and three quarters of the pitch, followed by final stretching exercises.

Under Pellicer’s orders today were 19 professional and 10 homegrown players, six new faces compared to yesterday’s session.

Absent from training were Lago Junior due to a muscular injury in the left quadriceps, and Delmás, who underwent an MRI that determined a sprain in the internal lateral ligament of the left knee. The infirmary was completed by Ramón and reserve team player, Haitam, who continued with their respective recovery processes outside the group.

As well as Carlos López, Cristian, Loren and Álex Calvo, also in first team training this morning were defenders Bilal, Andrés Caro, Moussa and Murillo, and midfielders Rafa and Jesús Martín.

Tomorrow Thursday, again at 10:30, the third training session will get underway at La Rosaleda’s facilities.
