Sergi Darder, accompanied by Cub adviser, Ben Barek, was presented with the Sohail Castle Award by the president of the Málaga ‘peña’ in Fuengirola, Manuel Preciado, naming the Artà-born midfielder the best player of last season. Other players including Camacho, Jesús Gámez and Willy Caballero have won this award in previous years. Also present at the event, which took place in the headquarters of the Fuengirola ‘peña’ were sports councillor, Pedro Cuevas, and president of the ‘Peñas Malaguistas’ Federation, Miguel Molina.
