Firstly, Schuster looks at the team line-up: “Every time we win a match, it costs us dearly.  If it’s not through injury, then it’s due to suspension.  We thought Jesús would be ready to play, and unfortunately Kameni isn’t match-fit at the moment either.  We’ve got Weligton back in action, which is important to the team, but Portillo from the reserve team will act as a safety net in case Weligton suffers any injury problems during play.  Camacho won’t be in midfield tomorrow, Angeleri and Weligton will be centre forwards and Eliseu on the right wing, where he performs extremely well.  I hope the formation works for us tomorrow, as we’re also missing Samu on the right, but possibly Juanmi may take his place.”
 
The coach analyses tomorrow night’s match: “We all know what it’s like playing at that ground.  We always have a strong presence on the pitch in away games, and we really need to be on the ball and impose our style of football.  It’s crucial that we cover every line with Athletic and don’t let them pressure us in defence.”
