The German-born coach states: “We all needed a win, particularly a home win, following our recent run of results.  The team put on such a strong performance and showed a great strength in order to get this victory.  I think we maintained good control over Getafe, as they’ve got three or four quality players that could have caused a lot of trouble for us.  I’m over the moon at this result, we didn’t concede a goal and weren’t in any real danger at all in this game.  I was confident that a goal would come sooner or later.”
 
Schuster explains that the team showed the same intensity during the entire match, in one of their most ‘complete’ games of the season: “This match was more complete as we didn’t lose concentration or intensity at all.  In previous games where we’ve lost the rhythm of play, rivals have taken advantage and it’s turned out badly for us.  We maintained good control of the ball for the 90 minutes, and I think we deserved another goal at least.  The boys kept up a solid defence after we scored, and we took the three points.”
