Santa Cruz reaches 101 matches with Paraguay

The Blue and Whites’ striker played his 100th international with Paraguay in the last game and today reached 101 against South Korea in a friendly in Asia, resulting in a 2-0 win for Paraguay.

Roque Santa Cruz was in the starting-11 and substituted in minute 78.  The Paraguay captain is a permanent fixture in international clashes and today played his 101st match for his country at the Baekseok Stadium in Chenoan.
 
Paraguay’s run of friendly matches in Asia comes to an end next Tuesday 14th October against China.
