Venezuelan right-back, Roberto Rosales held a press conference this afternoon at the Ciudad de Málaga press room: “The clear objective is salvation, after that we’ll try to be ambitious.”
Confidence
“Since the beginning of the season we’ve worked very hard. Defensively we’ve always been good, and the victories we’ve had have given us confidence; this is the key, to win matches and get used to working along this line for the team to grow in gameplay and confidence, and continue moving forward.”
Permanency and ambition
“The team has a clear objective, which is salvation. Logically, we’ve achieved important things and good results, which is what we want to maintain. After that, we’ll try to be ambitious and end the League competition as high up the table as possible.”
Villarreal
“Everyone knows their gameplay, they are a dangerous team, with strikers and wingers who work well together. They’re not near the top of the table for nothing. However, we’ll go there with the intention of playing a serious game with a lot of sacrifice, to try and achieve a good result.”
The explosion of Juanpi
“A pleasant surprise both for Málaga and Venezuelan football. He’s going to be a very important player, he is now, and will continue to be. Juanpi has earned his success so far, and since I arrived he has worked very hard. Playing with Juanpi is easy, he’s very technical and knows how to read a game. It also helps that we’re from the same country, we have the same footballing characteristics from there, which helps a little.”
