The Málaga CF right-back, Roberto Rosales was in the starting-11 in Venezuela’s first match of the Copa America, in which they defeated Columbia by 1-0 thanks to a goal from former ‘Malaguista’, Salomón Rondón.
There was a surprise in store when the ‘Vintotino’ side defeated one of the favourites, Columbia, in the third match of the Copa America. ‘Malaguista’, Rosales maintained the good level of play he showed in his first League season, successful in defence as well as a strong attacking display.
Filipenko, in starting-11 against Spain
For his part, Málaga’s Belarus-born Filipenko was also in action, in the Euro 2016 qualifier between Belarus and Spain, which ended in victory for ‘La Roja’ thanks to a goal by Silva.
