Federico Ricca, who has been called-up to Uruguay in a list of players reserved from outside the country (the definitive team will be announced next week according to the Uruguayan Football Association), could make his debut with the first team in the internationals between Argentina-Uruguay (1st September) and/or Paraguay-Argentina (6th September).

Start of LaLiga
“Here we are, two days before LaLiga starts. I think we’ve arrived at this point well prepared, both physically and from a footballing aspect. We’ve taken part in various friendlies and had a good pre-season. Now it’s time for LaLiga to begin. We’re kicking off the competition at home, in front of our fans. We’re preparing for the match on Friday to start as well as we can.”

“We’re working a great deal on every detail, based on what we intend to do. I think we’ll start in a very good way. The team is very united and really excited”.

“Luckily, I haven’t had any setbacks over the entire pre-season, which is important for a player. I felt good during the friendly games, with the rhythm needed for the start of LaLiga. I think we’ve arrived at this point very well, having played many minutes of football, which is significant.”
