“Perfect” pre-season

“When you have a pre-season with so many training sessions, you really look forward to the start of the competition.  The assessment, with regard to the preparation, has been perfect as we’ve done a lot of work.  We’ve had to work a great deal in order to ensure everyone is in the best possible condition.  The results have been good, but are of no importance.  The time to show what we’re capable of is now.  We’ve tried to ensure that all the players have accumulated minutes, and the most important thing is we’ve had no injuries.”

Osasuna, difficult rival

“When a team is revamped only slightly, the conjunction is much easier, so in that respect Osasuna are winning.  In relation to competing in the First or Second Division, there are major differences, so they must adapt to the new category.  However, there’s no doubt that we’re facing a difficult, complicated rival, who’ll be trying to play a good game and clinch a good result.”

“My philosophy is to focus all our strength on our own team, and perform as well as we can.  If we do things right, we’ll have possibilities to win, so we must exclusively concentrate on ourselves to ensure we do our best.”

Planning

“We’ve had time to bring the players together, work as a team and take part in numerous friendlies.  This is a step forward in the preparations.  Arnau has done an amazing job in developing the team, and I’m sure we’ll benefit from that.”

Feria and season ticket campaign

“It appears as though the fans are really excited, looking at the great number of season ticket holders.  With regards to the Feria, there will be those who prefer to go the Feria, and others who’ll want to come and see the game, which I think will be the majority.  Above all, I’m sure season ticket holders will want to see their team.”
