Losing the advantage

“The match in the first half was a good match, particularly when we circulated the ball, we did a lot of damage to Deportivo; in the second half we didn’t manage our advantage well and Deportivo went ahead”.

Focused on the second leg

“We had our chances to score another goal or go level, but now we’re thinking about the next match, at home, where we’re strong. At home we’re a very strong team, with our fans, and we know La Rosaleda is going to be full”.

Local strength

“There are no favourites, they are very contested, hard-fought games. (Today) we let the match go for not having the ball, in the first half we defended well with it, but in the second half it wasn’t to be. Deportivo were very strong”.

“The dressing room is convinced we can turn it around and at La Rosaleda we’re very strong”.
