The team was back to work this Wednesday morning, following a day off yesterday, at the Ciudad de Málaga. The return of Keko to group training at a good pace, was the positive news of the day.
The Blue and Whites’ hour and 40-minute long session, which alternated between physical exercise and ball work, had various positives. Keko is gradually re-joining group training, and worked at a good pace this morning, as well as reserve team goalkeeper, Samu Casado, who has now recovered from a sprain to his left elbow. A fully fit Sandro has now overcome the physical discomfort experienced on Monday.
Goalkeepers; Kameni, Boyko and the aforementioned Samu Casado were in training today, along with 21 players, including usual reserve team members; Luis and Ontiveros, plus homegrown players; Álex Robles (right-winger), Kike Pina (left-winger), Gabri (central) and Alfred (midfielder).
Charles focused on specific training on the pitch, under the orders of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero; whilst Ricca remained in the gym, along with Weligton. Miguel Torres (muscular injury to his right femoral biceps) received physiotherapy treatment. Kuzmanovic continues his recovery in Switzerland. Africa internationals, Koné and En-Nesyri were also absent.
Tomorrow, Thursday from 10:30, Málaga CF will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
