Almost two hours’ training at the Ciudad de Málaga

Málaga CF was back to work this Thursday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium. Keko completed the session at a good pace, and ‘juvenil’ player, Maty was a new addition to training.

Marcelo Romero focused today’s training session on work using the ball, via rounds in groups, mini-matches on three-quarters of the pitch and finishing exercises. In regard to yesterday’s session, Keko was again in group training at a good rhythm today, with the inclusion of homegrown midfielder, Maty, who joins his teammates Álex Robles, Kike Pina, Alfred and Gabri, plus the usual Luis and Ontiveros.

Reserve team players, Kuki Zalazar and Mula underwent continuous running, separately from the group, focusing on physical recovery work after taking part in yesterday’s Malagueño-Loja match. Aarón, the starting goalkeeper in yesterday’s aforementioned match, trained at a lower level than Kameni, Boyko and the reserve team’s Samu Casado.

Charles underwent physical exercise on the pitch, under the orders of fitness trainer, Hugo Camarero, whilst Ricca, Torres and Weligton remained in the gym to undergo recovery treatment. Kuzmanovic, and Africa internationals, Koné and En-Nesyri, were absent.

Tomorrow, Friday, Málaga Club de Fútbol will return to training at the Ciudad de Málaga athletics stadium, from 10:30.
