Reserve players take part in today’s training session

Málaga CF held their first training session after their tour of Italy and Greece, this Thursday afternoon in the Ciudad de Málaga Athletics Stadium.

Manuel Pellegrini’s session today included three reserve players, Cristian Márquez, Soufian and Fabrice Olinga.  Dutch player Joris Mathijsen was absent from training with the Club’s permission.
 
The 90 minute session consisted of warm-up exercises, continuous running, stretching, physical exercises, ball possession and control work, and a practice match.
 
The team is back in training tomorrow ahead of the Costa del Sol Cup match on Saturday against Everton, taking place at La Rosaleda.  Training gets underway at 9:30 tomorrow morning in the Martiricos stadium, before the team find out their rival in the Champions League play-off.  Club adviser Francisco Martín Aguilar will be present at the draw which takes place at midday tomorrow at UEFA headquarters.
