Before the start of the press conference, sporting director Loren Juarros commented on the continued presence of both players at the Club: “For Málaga, it is important to have the commitment of these two players, who with their work and effort helped achieve the objective last year and this year (…) They are not yet the best footballers they can be. Dani had the opportunity to return to Málaga and he took it. Izan has been here his whole life and knows everything. This year he has established himself, which is what we expected and he has delivered (…) We want to thank you for your commitment; you have earned it. The Club believes you have room to grow and with your performance, you are capable of taking the Club to where it deserves to be.
