Cacereño Femenino Atlético ‘B’ – Málaga CF match preview

Málaga Femenino will play away on matchday 26 of Group 3 in Segunda Federación, the final match of the regular season for the Blue and Whites.

The match between Cacereño Atlético’s reserve side and Málaga CFF will take place at the Campos Federativos “Manuel Sánchez Delgado” this Sunday at 12:00.

The Malaguistas sit 3rd in the standings with 48 points, while the Cacereño side are 10th with 26 points, four points above the relegation zone, meaning they have secured their place in the division for another season.

Héctor Díaz’s side will play at the same time as CD Sporting de Huelva, who are 2nd in the table with 50 points, and Granada CF B, who sit 4th with the same points as MCFF. The team finishing second will qualify for the promotion playoff, alongside the runners-up from Groups 1 and 2, as well as the best third-placed team across the three groups, with Zaragoza CFF already confirmed as qualified.

Málaga come into the match after a 3-1 home win over Guiniguada Apolinario last week. Meanwhile, Cacereño B drew 1-1 away against Unión Viera. Alicia, with 12 goals, stands out as Málaga’s top scorer, while Andrea leads the home side with six goals.

After a long season in Group 3 of the third tier, which saw Sportextremadura crowned champions and promoted to Primera Federación, the race for second place now enters its decisive phase with three teams in contention. Among them is Málaga CF, who must win and hope for Sporting de Huelva to lose in Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Believe and make it happen! Vamos, Málaga!
