Peybernes spoke in the mixed zone at the Anxo Carro about #LugoMálaga. “It was a fairly balanced game. In the first half we had our chances. It was a 0-0 game, but we made a mistake on the play where we should have done more. The team competed, we needed to score a goal to go level. It was a difficult match from home, the season is over now and we have to disconnect somewhat,” he said.
Time to take stock of the season. “Let each one take their time to be self-critical and the Club will make decisions. We need to see what we did well, where we can improve and what we mustn’t do next season,” he explained.
“We have a month of holidays now to disconnect and clear our minds. It has been a difficult year for the players and the Club, it wasn’t what we expected,” he said. He ended with an optimistic message after a tough season: “Sometimes things happen that we don't want, but next season will be better.”
