“It’s a completely new team, they’ve had many changes, including the coach. They’ve won two matches away from home and lost just one against Espanyol. They are very dynamic on the attack, they started out well and being in a construction phase, with hunger and enthusiasm, defeated Mallorca. We have to keep them away from the goal as they are dynamic and deep. Our idea is to keep doing what we’ve been doing, within a positive dynamic and work on the things we need to improve. In every game, beyond the result, there is room for improvement. This rival will demand a great deal from us, we need to be very strong in defence, and in attack, bring continuity to these final stretches of play”.
Good performance
“Victories and defeats last 24 hours. It’s all about working hard and knowing that winning costs us a lot. We would all like to maintain a high level, but we must keep in mind that, to compete, we need to keep up the pace for 90 minutes. We can find our own luck by working hard, piling the pressure on and insisting. It’s important to realise why that happens, know what to do, and keep pushing hard. We need to continue making a huge effort and take steps forward. In order to compete with Málaga, teams need to outrun us, as the players keep the pressure on. Then, at an individual level, every player will feel more comfortable”.
