Unfair result

“The team tried everything, sometimes football is unfair, and this was the case with my team today. We were able to rebuild ourselves, generated many dangerous actions and a large part of the game was under our control. From when we conceded the goal, the match went crazy. Pablo Chavarría’s injury impacted us. The game was where we wanted it to be, yet the result was not in line with the team's merits. We were penalised by a mistake from a set piece, but in the rest of play we were superior. Apart from the result, the worst news is losing players through injury”.

“The image the players gave is that they are a team with soul, who wanted to take centre stage. It’s annoying and extremely bittersweet. These three points would have given us great peace of mind and moved us up five places. Now we’re clear what the objective is”.

Good work

“Not taking into account the goal mistake, this was our most complete match of the season. There are times when you do many things right yet don’t score any points. I’m angry as the team’s hard work was immense. By playing like this, things will go our way and we’ll score the three points”.
