Ontiveros: “We have to try and fill La Rosaleda”

The Blue and White winger spoke to the media during the presentation of the sponsorship agreement between Limsama and the MCF School: “If we win on Saturday it will give us a boost”.

An important match

“Saturday’s is a game we’re going to try and win. We need the points, as do Granada, they’ll come here and fight to the death for the three points and the best team will take the result. We’ve come from a defeat in Extremadura and if we win on Saturday it will give us a boost of energy for the remainder of the competition before the Christmas break. It would be a highly intense lift to score the maximum points possible”:

The strength of the fans

“La Rosaleda has to be behind us to the max. We have to try and fill the ground, have as much encouragement as possible so we can claim a positive result for all the Málaga fans. You really notice their support. We could also notice our fans’ support in Extremadura, there were a lot of them there, but it’s on another level at La Rosaleda. We’re delighted that the fans are coming to the matches and are motivated with us, as we’re responding to that and try to convey our best image”.

Personal moment

“I feel great. At the start I wasn’t physically great, but match by match I’ve been improving my physique. The coach decides if he’ll include me in the line-up or not. We’re all focused, and the one who goes out there will do the best he can. All the wingers and midfielders are active for when the coach calls on us, and we’re ready to do our best”.
