Ontiveros and Robles, regular fixtures in Spain’s youth ranks

Javi Ontiveros has been called-up to Spain’s under-19s for the international against Serbia on 2nd March. Álex Robles has been selected to train with Spain’s under-17s.

Young Marbella-born striker, Javi Ontiveros, has been chosen for the under-19s’ international clash between Spain and Serbia, on Wednesday 2nd March at the Balkan Federation Sports City in Belgrade, kicking off at 6 p.m.

Ontiveros, who yesterday scored two goals in Atlético Malagueño’s 4-0 victory against Alhaurín de la Torre, is enjoying a magnificent season in Third Division Group 9.  The 18-year-old has scored 9 goals in 18 matches with Manel Ruano’s team, the league leaders, in addition to playing 4 games with Málaga CF in LaLiga and another two Copa del Rey matches.

Álex Robles, with Spain’s under-17s

Another player from La Academia who is often called-up to Spain’s youth teams is right-back, Álex Robles, who has again been chosen by the RFEF’s national coaches.

In the case of Álex, he has been called-up to take part in a series of training sessions with Spain’s under-17s at Las Rozas Football City (Madrid), between Monday 29th February and Wednesday 2nd March.
