Okazaki, following several days with a specific training plan, debuted against Córdoba CF under the orders of Víctor Sánchez del Amo. Some 30 minutes into the first half, the new Malaguista number ‘23’ substituted Iván Jaime to play the remainder of the first half and the first 15 minutes of the second half, when he was replaced by Ontiveros.
Smiles, good atmosphere and lots of encouragement for the ‘new boy’ were prevalent throughout at the José Burgos Quintana, with Okazaki applauded and cheered by the fans in Coín.
