New season kicks-off at UMA for the Supercapacitados

The MCF Foundation’s Supercapacitad@s Football School started training yesterday at the UMA Sports Complex.

It was a special, genuine afternoon full of joy and happiness for the players, coaching team, collaborators and sponsors of the project, on the first day of October, which, coincidentally is World Smile Day.

After taking part in the Copa de Andalucía Genuine last weekend, the team known as ‘Málaga Genuine’ kicked-off the 21/22 season of training sessions. A total of 73 players were in action with the Blue and White coaches and monitors.

A spectacular and significant day, with the presence of the school’s godfather, Paco Ráez, at the magnificent sports facilities of the University of Málaga. As the team gradually returns to the long-awaited normality, the boys and girls of the Foundation’s School are enjoying it like no-one else. Congratulations team!

Team info

  • Out of the school’s 73 players, 16 are new incorporations. In the younger age range, there are 15 players aged between 5 and 15.
  • The coaching team has grown, featuring a new psychologist. There is also a social worker who specialises in administrative issues, as well as the large number of volunteers.
  • Málaga CF is the only entity in Spanish professional football that includes the MCF Foundation School within its structure, being a pioneer and taking steps towards normality with examples such as that of David Pascual, a member of the team and an employee within the Club’s Administration Department.
