Nelson Macedo Monte (Vila do Conde, 1995) joined Málaga CF two summers ago on a permanent deal from Ukrainian side SC Dnipro-1.
The central defender played a pivotal role in the club’s dramatic promotion to LALIGA HYPERMOTION in the 2023/24 season and the return to professional football in 2024/25. During his time at the club, he made 69 official appearances and scored 3 goals wearing the Málaga shirt.
The player expressed to Málaga CF his intention to accept the offer from UD Almería, and both clubs have reached a transfer agreement.
