The Blue and Whites will face Qatari side Al-Wakrah Sport Club at the Marbella Football Center facilities next Wednesday 30 July at 19:00.
Málaga CF’s preseason continues to fill out its match schedule, this time with an international opponent they will face midweek in Marbella, on the penultimate day of July.
The opponent, Al-Wakrah, plays in the Qatar Stars League, the top tier of Qatari football, which they won in the 1998/99 and 2000/01 seasons. In the most recent 2024/25 campaign, they finished in 8th place in the standings.
A club with tradition in its country, founded in 1959 and boasting 66 years of history, Al-Wakrah won its most recent major title by lifting the Qatar Cup after defeating Al-Rayyan 1–0 in May of last year.
Another test on Marbella soil for Sergio Pellicer’s side as they continue their preparations for the best possible start to the 2025/26 LALIGA HYPERMOTION season.
