There was a festive atmosphere in the stands of the Francisco Romero ground as the match kicked off at the unusual time of 10:00. Juanma selected the following starting line-up: Andrea; Encarni, Merida, Ruth ©, Farfan; Felicité, María Cortés, Marilén, Bertuchi; Torralvo and Monterroso.

During the first half, the Tenerife side was very solid in defence and generated a number of opportunities, but didn’t manage to find Andrea Ríos' goal.

In the second half it was MCFF who were unforgiving, scoring in the early stages and defining the match. A powerful shot from María Monterroso hit the post and then the rival goalkeeper, and ended up inside the net (1-0, 54').

The tone of the match remained the same until the end, with great equality between both sides and Málaga maintaining their narrow yet sufficient lead. In a direct duel between the 5^th and 6^th teams in the standings, before the start of the matchday, the Malaguistas won three golden points to end 2022 in the best way.
