Chavarría: “The victory is crucial for what’s to come”

The Argentinean striker, who scored the winning Malaguista goal against Deportivo Alavés, said a few words after the match: “We gave our all tonight, we deserve the win and are two points from safety,” he said.

“The afternoon started well with Argentina's victory. But the main thing is that we won, we were able to do it and it’s crucial for what’s to come,” he started out by saying to the media. “This victory is very important. We gave our all tonight, we deserve the win and are two points from safety,” he continued.

Chavarría feels “physically very well. It’s very important to me. So is the confidence of the coaching team and my teammates moving forward. I'm feeling good on the wing, I’ve already done so with other teams. I try to be useful, no matter where I’m placed, what I want is to play,” he stressed.

On a personal level, he scored his second consecutive goal: “I was aware that I have the level needed, I just lacked continuity. Things are working out for me now, and I'm going to continue working after this break. I recovered perfectly from the knee injury, I had muscular problems that were holding me back. You have to be strong in the head, because things change very quickly in football,” said the Argentinean striker.
