The perfect finishing touch for the Malaguistas X Naturaleza 'Salta al Verde' campaign in the run-up to #MálagaAlavés. It was a very special Sunday on and off the pitch for the Club, as an Entity and a team.
Yesterday morning, a group of Málaga CF’s Loyal Malaguistas enjoyed an initiative organised by the MCF Foundation, in collaboration with Ecovidrio and PROAMB, known as 'plogging'. What is it? It’s an action combining sporting activity with outdoor waste collection.
On the outskirts of La Rosaleda Stadium, next to the Guadalmedina river, a Malaguista 'plogging' took place that included the so-called “Solidarity Goal,” in which the Loyal Malaguistas, for every penalty they scored in a special shoot-out held at the Annexe, one kilo of food was donated to the Hermanitas de los Pobres association in the capital.
Raising awareness and looking after the environment is essential for Málaga CF, within its sustainability campaign with Malaguistas X Naturaleza, which goes from strength to strength every year.
Recent examples include the Ecoclase Malaguista, in which 11 schools in Málaga enjoyed talks on the importance of caring for our environment. Or the glass collection action, together with PROAMB, from our always committed Málaga Genuine.
This added value as a club, both to our Entity and to our Loyal Malaguistas, fills us with pride. And after having the perfect finish of a home win to bid farewell to 2022, our happiness is complete. Yesterday was a day to remember! Vamos, Málaga!
