The Málaga CF coaching team will have two new members that will accompany Pepe Mel as coach of the Blue and White first team. Nacho Pérez, as assistant coach, and Nacho Oria as physical trainer.
In the case of Nacho Pérez Santamaría (Málaga, 1980), he joins after leaving his position as coach of the women’s team. Nacho coincided with Mel during his time as a player, in the ranks of Real Betis Balompié, for four seasons (2010-14). In 10/11 they won the Second Division championship and promotion to the elite.
Nacho Pérez, despite his youth, has extensive experience in the dugout. He was second coach of CD San Félix that made history in the 17/18 season and first coach of MCF’s Juvenil 'B' (18/19) and Juvenil 'A' (2019-21), who won the league championship in Division of Honor (20/21).
In addition, Ignacio Oria Mijares (Cádiz, 1965) returns to Málaga CF to strengthen the physical aspect of the first team. Nacho Oria, with Víctor Sánchez del Amo as Malaguista coach, worked as physical trainer at the end of the 18/19 season and during the 19/20 season.
