Muñiz: “Good work reaped rewards”

The Malaguista coach analysed the team’s victory in the RCD Mallorca press room: “You don’t win the points unless you suffer and sacrifice yourself until the end”.

Good match

“We witnessed a great match, between two teams who fought for the three points until the last minute at a high level, with great intensity. We saw a very complete match by both teams. We can leave here satisfied today, as we defeated a very good team at a difficult ground. It’s not by chance that they remain at the top part of the table for so many matchdays. We should be happy as we played a highly competitive, hard-fought game and didn’t decline when we conceded the equaliser. The team did a great job and we should leave here very pleased. The match, as always in this category, was balanced and demanding until the last second”.

Suffering

You don’t win the points unless you suffer and sacrifice yourself until the end, as happened today. You realise that the level of gameplay and rhythm you have to impose is incredibly high until the final seconds, as that’s when many games are decided. The team should be congratulated as they did a very good job, played a very complete match”.

Happy

“We have to leave here very happy, very satisfied, as today the good work reaped rewards. We should be content with the result, with the points, and because the fans will be pleased with the effort their team showed to take this victory”.

Good job

“I don’t know if that music is ours, but it could be. Every match you win and every match you score must be celebrated, as the category is so tight and highly difficult. Every match you win is down to you doing a very good job. I’m delighted as the players are enjoying the reward for all their hard work and because the fans have to be happy with the team’s work. It was a complete match for us”.
