Munir: “I’ve really missed doing my job as a goalkeeper”

The Blue and White keeper, like his teammates, has resumed individual training in the middle of Ramadan: “The coaching team makes our job easier, they allow me to undertake training sessions in the afternoon, which helps with fasting”.

Eager to be back

“It’s more complicated for a goalkeeper as our work is more specific, it’s been very difficult. I love my work, my specific role as goalkeeper. I’ve missed it a lot”.

Preparation with Dani Lima

“They allow our goalkeeping coach to interact with me, whilst maintaining protocol. This way, we’ll try to adapt to the situation as much as possible, but it makes it much easier that Daniel Lima can train with us. I congratulate everyone who works within the Club, they’re doing an amazing job, making a huge effort to facilitate our work. They help us when it comes to training with the ball because, although we can’t work with a teammate, it’s going well using the wall. They are helping us to handle the situation as well as we can”.

Work facilities

“The coaching team is making an effort to make everything easier for us all, and myself, who is in the middle of Ramadan, they allow me to undertake training sessions in the afternoon, which helps with fasting. I’m very grateful for that and will return all their hard work on the pitch and give my all”.

Enthusiasm

“I’m extremely positive, very enthusiastic and looking forward to returning. Starting to train again is a breath of fresh air for everyone, and something I’m really excited about. Hopefully, we’ll be able to compete as soon as possible and step on the pitch at La Rosaleda again. We’ll do our best to finish the league in the best way possible”.
