Munir, in concentration with Morocco

The Malaguista goalkeeper joined the Morocco national team in concentration on Monday, in Cairo, to take part in the Africa Cup getting underway on Friday.

Málaga CF goalkeeper, Munir Mohand is now in concentration with the Morocco national team. The keeper arrived in the Egyptian capital of Cairo on Monday to join the rest of the called-up players. As such, he will be available to coach, Hervé Renard for the Atlas Lions’ first match on Sunday 23rd June.

Morocco are in group D, with Ivory Coast, Namibia and South Africa. Therefore, following the game on Sunday 23rd against Namibia, Morocco will play the Ivory Coast on the 28th and end the group stage on 1st July against South Africa.

He isn’t the only Malaguista representative in the Africa Cup. N’Diaye, who has been in concentration with Senegal for over a week, has already taken part in a friendly last Sunday against Nigeria (1-0) in Dakar. The midfielder will debut in the Africa Cup on Sunday against Tanzania.
