Morning session with Camacho and Kuki back in the group

The team was in training this Tuesday morning at the Ciudad de Málaga, the second session of the week. In regard to yesterday’s session, the only new faces were Camacho and the reserve team’s Kuki Zalazar, who both returned to the group dynamic.

Goalkeepers; Kameni, Boyko, reserve team’s Aarón and juvenil keeper, Javi Cuenca, plus another 21 players, including homegrown Ontiveros, Arturo, Kike Pina and Kuki Zalazar - the latter now back with the group after undergoing a recovery session yesterday – trained for an hour and 45 minutes, focusing on diverse exercises using the ball.

Ignacio Camacho (who remained in the gym yesterday) trained at full pace, as did Miguel Torres, who completed his second session on the run with the group. The non-physically-fit Sandro, Ricca, Weligton and Luis Muñoz (sprained right ankle) underwent recovery treatment in the stadium’s interior galleries.

Absent from today’s session were injured players; Recio (post-op) and Kuzmanovic (Switzerland); as well as Africa international, Koné, who will be in action tomorrow in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations with Burkina Faso; and En-Nesyri.

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 10:30, Málaga CF will resume training at the Ciudad de Málaga stadium.
