Koné, in the semi-finals of the Africa Cup

The Malaguista central defender has qualified to the penultimate round of the CAN 2017 with Burkina Faso, after defeating Tunisia in the quarter-finals by 2-0.

Bakary Koné continues his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Gabon, and has reached the semi-finals with his country. The defender played the 90 minutes of the quarter-final in which Burkina Faso beat Tunisia thanks to goals from Bance and Nakoulma in the final stage of play (2-0).

Koné is awaiting to see who his rival will be in the next round of the competition, to be decided out of the duel between En-Nesyri’s Morocco and Egypt (tomorrow, Sunday 29th at 20:00).
