The Malaguista central defender has qualified to the penultimate round of the CAN 2017 with Burkina Faso, after defeating Tunisia in the quarter-finals by 2-0.
Bakary Koné continues his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Gabon, and has reached the semi-finals with his country. The defender played the 90 minutes of the quarter-final in which Burkina Faso beat Tunisia thanks to goals from Bance and Nakoulma in the final stage of play (2-0).
Should Morocco reach the semis, Koné or En-Nesyriwill make history in taking the Málaga CF name to the final of the Africa Cup of Nations. The semi-final will take place on Wednesday 1st February at 20:00.
