Miquel: “It’s time to work hard and keep improving”
Before leaving for the concentration in Estepona, the Malaguista defender says: “It’s good for us from a physical point of view and also helps us to get to know each other”.
Good group work
“We’re working hard and working well, particularly during matches which is what everyone in the dressing room wants to do. I believe, little by little, we’re adapting to what is asked of us and what we need to do, to work and to start improving things”.
A ‘Stage’ is important
“Every year, during these team concentrations, it’s time to relax and work. Being alone, able to sleep well, get up and get to work without anything to worry about helps us and everyone else to do that bit extra. It’s good for us from a physical point of view and also helps us to get to know each other”.
Always with the will to win
“We want to win every match. We’re getting better physically all the time, we’re adapting more to training, working how the coach wants us to, which are all important aspects in competing. You want to get to the rhythm, reach that point, but you also want to win as that’s what the competition demands of you”.
Great match against Extremadura UD
“We had sufficient possession, I think we were the better side and deserved to win. We controlled the match well, but in the second pre-season game against a team like us, we can’t get carried away. Quite the opposite, it serves to help us to learn and, above all, this afternoon and tomorrow to try and correct our mistakes and continue to improve”.
Seated in the dressing room
“I’ve been here for half a year, but both the coach and my teammates know that you have that responsibility. The coach is also giving me a bit of confidence, which is also good”.
