Mikel Villanueva will play on loan at Gimnàstic de Tarragona until the end of the 2018/19 season, following the agreement reached with the Catalan side and Málaga CF.
The defender was in the ranks of CF Reus Deportiu until last month when, due to the complex financial situation that the Tarragona team is experiencing, he rescinded his contract with Reus and returned to Málaga. So far this season, Mikel has accumulated 992 minutes over 12 games in LaLiga 1|2|3.
